My child is 5 & I would love an intro to the concept of matter being broken down into atoms, subatomic particles, etc. A lot will depend on the illustrations, the pictures will be crucial in getting the concepts across. Kids in this range tend to be fascinated with things that are very big or very small, so this will really stir their imagination, and hopefully, stimulate in interest in science.
