One worry I have is that many Americans have the attention span of dirt, and expect quick solutions to many of our problems, some of which have been developing for decades. We will see Obama dampen expectations and talk more about sacrifice; he started making some references to this in his victory speech, but the tasks at hand are daunting. Let's hope he is able to keep our focus and attention, and use his unprecedented public network to get average Americans involved in doing things that help the nation.

Two words: President Obama. Beyond that I've been speechless with elation for two days.

Time to get to work.
